DISCVR
DISCVR is a modern cross-platform mobile application being developed for Victory City Church in Topeka, KS. Designed as the church's digital hub, the app allows members and visitors to discover weekly sermons via audio playback, reference sermon notes, and stay connected with the life of the church.
Inspired by the simplicity of modern media streaming apps, DISCVR delivers an intuitive sermon listening experience while laying the foundation for future church engagement features.
Vision
Victory City Church desired a single destination where members and guests could easily access sermons, stay informed about church events, and engage with ministries throughout the week, not just on Sundays.
Rather than relying on multiple disconnected platforms, the goal is to provide one unified mobile experience that helps people:
- Discover new teachings, ministries, and events
- Grow through biblical teaching and sermon resources
- Belong by staying connected with the Victory City Church community
The Problem
Church members often rely on social media posts, YouTube links, websites, printed notes, and emails to stay informed. Important content is spread across multiple platforms, making it difficult to find past sermons or remain engaged throughout the week.
