2025 Food Truck Season Kickoff -> First Photoshoot Session
The 2025 food truck season is officially underway and we kicked it off with our first dedicated photoshoot session focused entirely on elevating the in-app menu gallery inside mobile Munch.
This wasn’t just event coverage. This was intentional content creation designed to showcase the craftsmanship behind every dish.
The Location
Our first shoot of the 2025 season took place on a live Sunday midday event in Topeka, hosted at Best Buy on Wanamaker Rd.
With steady foot traffic, natural sunlight, and real-time customer orders rolling in, it was the perfect environment to capture authentic, high-energy food visuals.
The Focus
This session was centered around one key goal:
Capture high-quality, scroll-stopping menu photos for the in-app menu gallery feature.
The mobile Munch menu gallery allows users to:
- Browse full menu items visually
- Preview portion sizes and presentation
- Discover new dishes before arriving
- Make faster ordering decisions
Strong visuals directly impact engagement and we’re raising the standard for 2025 and beyond.
What We Captured
- Signature entrée close-ups
- Freshly made action shots
- Detail-focused texture photography
- Full plated presentations
Every shot was taken with intentional lighting, composition, and app-display framing in mind, ensuring it looks just as good in-hand as it did in real life.
Why This Matters
The in-app menu gallery is one of the most powerful features inside mobile Munch.
When users can see the food clearly and professionally presented, they are significantly more likely to:
- Visit the truck
- Try new menu items
- Share the app with friends
- Return for repeat visits
This first shoot marks a bigger push in 2025 and beyond: Helping vendors present their menus digitally with the same pride they put into preparing each dish.
Season 2025: Just Getting Started
This was only the beginning.
More live-event photoshoots were planned throughout the 2025 season across Topeka, capturing the energy, flavor, and growth of the local food truck community one dish at a time.
